Life span Religious Education

Whether you’re just learning to toddle or young at heart, learn more about our education philosophy and curriculum.

Unitarian Universalism holds as one of its central principles the “free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” Religious education and spiritual growth with a loving and respectful community are at the very heart of what this church seeks to offer our children and youth.

Through the course of our religious education program we want our children to learn about our Unitarian Universalist roots and identity, our Jewish and Christian heritage and the central insights and gifts of the world’s major religions. Even more importantly, we want our children to develop a sense of urgency about working for justice and a belief in their own power, as individuals and as a community, to create change. We want to pass on our values of honoring diversity, cherishing human and non-human life and greeting thee world with open minds and hearts.

We invite all families to join us on Sunday mornings in our religious exploration. Religious Education classes meet during the second service at 11am. During the first 15 minutes, they join the adults in worship then leave for their classes.

Beginning May 25th, we will begin our children's summer fun-shops.
