I Am A Man! Strike~ Bob Britton Don’t miss this special pre-Labor Day service and the joyous music of solidarity! Union Organizer Bob Britton will highlight the 1968 Memphis Sanitation Strike that sought union representation for the lowest paid public workers in society. This strike culminated in the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at a time when he was expanding his prophetic vision beyond Civil Rights and Racial Equality to embrace Union Rights, the Peace Movement, and the War on Poverty. The Sound of Water: A Communion ~ Rev. Katie Kandarian-Morris, Sharon Wylie, & Lane Campbell INTERGENERATIONAL SERVICE Join us for the first official “new year” service in our sanctuary as we welcome the community back together sharing water from our travels and the sharing of haiku. Our choir will sing and we will take a special collection for our incredible new sound system. Bring a small vial of water from your travels to mingle in our shared stream.

Attention to Detail: What Do We Do Now? ~Rev. Katie Kandarian-Morris The Jewish observance of Yom Kippur asks us to look at the decisions we have made for the year and do some recalibrating. How might we make room to do this work and what tools do we need to do it? Time? Dedication?

A Woman To Remember: Margaret Fuller ~Rev. Katie Kandarian-Morris Celebrate Unitarian Margaret Fuller’s birth 200 years ago by remembering the legacy she has made to our tradition, and to those whom she considered her friends. Fuller had a string of “firsts” for women, let’s wish her Happy Birthday.
